EV-charging in Avesta, Ludvika, Västerås & Örebro
We have installed EV-chargers at our facilities in Avesta, Ludvika, Västerås and Örebro to make it easier for you to charge your car. With our chargers you have the possibility to fast charge your electric car and easily pay with a bank card or swish.

Easy Payment – Swish or Bank Card
At our charging stations we have a simple and smooth payment process. You can choose to pay with either a bank card (Visa and Mastercard) or with Swish. After the charging is completed, you will receive a receipt via SMS. Enjoy an easier charging experience for your electrical car today at our convenient and reliable fast-charging stations!
A temporary reservation of 399 SEK is made on your bank account upon payment. Once the charging is completed, the exact amount will be sent to your bank. When using a bank card, any difference will be refunded within five working days. When you pay with Swish, any difference is immediately refunded.
How to charge your electrical car at Björkmans Bil
To Charge
1. Go to the payment station
- Press ”Start Charging”.
- Select your charging connector from the list.
- Choose a payment method and make a payment.
Enter your phone number to receive a receipt. If you pay with Swish, the receipt will be sent to you automatically via SMS.
2. Connect the Charging Cable
Connect the charging cable to your car.
Note. Make sure that the car is turned off and that the distance is sufficient to reach with the charging cable.
3. Monitor your car’s charging
The charging is now in progress. During DC charging, you can view the car’s charging status on the display.
To end charging
1. Go to the Payment Station
- Press “End Charging”
- Select your charging connector from the list
- Press “Yes” to confirm that you want to end your charging session.
You will receive a receipt via SMS after the charging session is completed.
2. Remove the Charging Cable
Remove the charging cable from the car, reattach the protective cover, and place it in the dedicated holder.
Note: In some cases, your vehicle may lock the charging cable in the charging port. If this occurs, follow the instructions provided by your vehicle to unlock the charging port, then proceed to remove the charging cable.

While we wait for the power grid to be updated, the power is limited to a maximum of 30 kW. The responsible supplier estimates that the expansion will be completed by the end of 2024. By then, you will be able to utilize the charger’s full capacity, 180kW.
